Comments: I just read through your "Myth of Electric Fans" page and I have to say I'm pretty shocked. A lot of you information is wrong and based off of distorted assumptions. "17HP" (though this is a rather gracious number) an amount of HP greater than .5 IS free'd up because the fan is not spinning at all at speed anymore. A mechanical fan with a clutch will still be working a good deal at speed, as well as the added weight to the rotating assembly. Ussing an electric fan enables there to be zero load while driving.

Comments: I was searching with google about stepper motors, and hooked up with your site. Thank you for the information and the schematic, as this looks like a fun project. I bought a stepper motor from allelectronics.com to see what it was, and there was no information with it. So, once again I would like to thank you.
