Comments: i might use your digital volume control in the project i'm doing at uni. my project requires me to design an fm receiver controlled by a microcontroller. i am using an fm receiver chip and this will be connected to a stereo decoder and then an amplifier........the volume and sound needs to be controlled using a microprocesser showing the volume and sound using an lsd display. the only problem is that my teacher says that i cannot use an ac/dc converter to the microprocesser because they are too expensive.....the teacher suggested that i use a 'digital tuning pot??'......can u suggest anything??????please email me on moussa@eisa.net.au

Comments: I've just learned that you really are a expert in mAking electronic prjects and all other stuff.I have tons of schematics here(I mean millions ,from audio to radio frequency) but the problem is when I first uploaded a file entitled wjcompre.gif(a mic compressor) it didn't appear in my homepage but instead to my subdirectory. Also when I try to search for my homepage in www.tripod.com (my homepage belongs here) it gives me no answer. So upon thinking that it is useless to upload my files to my homepage I decided to stop uploading because no one can find it or download it! I am not a expert in building a homepage . Comments: An excellent site, I am a techie and like to build most anything. I am an Extra Class Ham Radio Op and work just about all modes. I am a 49 year old kid who loves to tinker. I have a fair machine shop in the garage, lathe, mill, welders etc. I design and build antennas for Ham use. My work is with SW Bell Tel. I am the manager responsible for Fiber Optic systems in the Oklahoma City area. I have several Helium-Neon lasers and a couple of Ruby Rod lasers. I also hold a commercial FCC radio license and in the past was certified on the standard broadcast station program boards. I am a student at Mount Desert Island High School in maine. I participate in the schools theatre as a member of the tech crew. Last year I built a "gizmo" (really 2 quad-triac relays) to run light special effects. This year I am building a DC version for mobile purposes. I dable in electronics and I'm an avid programmer. We have the generator so were doing the project one way or another. We have not yet found the best way to convert, any tip would help. We really dont want to try rewiring this monster.

Comments: Very funny homepage. I my self work a little with electronic. I build many things from 10 meter FM tranciver to UHF band radio. Beside this I conduct a Brass Band in our Town and learn Young people to play a brass instrument. I must send with 1000 watt on my Transcivers so I can work all the World. I mostly use CW. My callsign is OZ1HPU. My first radio was a coil and diode and a pair of 2000 Ohm headphones. I build a lot of these when I was 8 years old.
