Comments: Came for the Solder tutorial. Seems to be not that different than the Hot Iron Soldering I do at work on curbs for Package A/C units. Except my irons are heated with fire, and the metal is prepared with muratic acid. So, I think I'll run myself down to the local RadioShack for some practice before I destroy a $60.00 relay. Nice site by the way.

Comments: Recently I was looking for resources on building an electric scooter, and came upon your site (which has helped me in carrying this project to completion). Then I found the whole wealth of projects and knowledge here, and realized I've been here before when researching Tesla coils!
On that topic, you made Tesla coils in grade school, as a project!? My "engineering" class consisted of rare and sparse woodworking (nothing beyond a handsaw) and maybe some string attached to make moving parts.
Anyways, great website; keep it up!
