Comments: Hi Aaron, just watching through some of your youtube videos on engine rebuilds. I'm the happy new owner of a 1988 GXL with a TII swap, and it has weak compression on the rear rotor. A rebuild is in order for the winter. Thanks for providing the enthusiast community with this resource, and sharing your experiences.

Comments: Aaron, Just like another Canadian, Matias Wandel (who is a very talented woodworker and engineer), I am awed by your exemplary and amazing work on the Cosmo (and your TV restoration! ! !) But you know all that :-) I am currently restoring a 73 Fiat 124 Spider. I was interested in your body restoration, cutting out the rust and fabricating new panels to replace the damaged portions of the car. I am faced with the same as my 73 is plagued with the same sheet metal used in your car. THIN and rust prone. The engine is another subject. I am building a 1608 hi performance engine that will make this little car scoot. I am learning another thing from you. Rome was not built in a day. I have to take my time with this car and am, like you, sleeping on a new idea or way to do a specific task. I will mull it over before I move on it so I do not have to do it twice. Guys like you come along rarely. There are a lot of talented technicians out there (if you know where to look). It is a pleasure to see you accomplishing such a noble undertaking. I cannot believe I watched your segments for over 4 hours without stopping ! That is how much I was impressed with your craftsmanship. After I finish my Spider, I will be rebuilding a Starflight Ultralight that I got from my brother. I bought a new powerplant (doubling to 37HP), wheels, instruments, three blade prop and hub, etc. etc. Like you, I have built many things over the years. Hope to follow you for years to come. Randy
