Hello to all! I'm new in this great forum, and I'm not an electronic expert... I'm here because I need to buy/create (possibly to "buy") a wireless remote control. So, I've a veterinary ultrasound scanner (for horses) with a foot pedal switch that commands the monitor freezing/defreezing. The pedal connector has 3 pin, but the pedal is connected only to 2 (the third is a mass, beetwen the connected ones there is a 6 Volt tension). The ultrasound scanner is connected to 220 V. I'd like an object capable to switch this line as the pedal does but without cables (and pheraps ready to mount!). Do you think it's possible? The signal should be received from a maximum of 5 meters. Thanks for all suggestions!

Grumble, I think you might find what you need on eBay, then maybe use what you find there to find regular commercial outlets if you don't like to buy on eBay.
Do a search on eBay for "Wireless Remote Control". You should have many hits come up, like Item 290344975650. I saw one a minute ago that's designed for 220V input, Item 280392521799, which is what you say you have available, though it was 4 channel, you would only need one of them. You would then just use one of the NO contacts to trick the machine into thinking the footswitch was closing the circuit.
However, one thing to think about and read up on is whether or not the contacts are latching or momentary. You probably want latching so that you hit the remote button once to activate the switch then again to deactivate it. Otherwise, you will have to hold the button down the whole time you would have been stepping on the foot switch. Just something to think about before spending the money. An impulse relay, such as this

can be purchased separately and used between the remote receiver and the machine if the reciever has a momentary relay only. This one is a 120VAC coil, so you'd need a 120VAC supply for it. You'll have to search for a 220VAC model.

One more thing. I looked closely at the relay that is used on Item 290344975628 on eBay. It is a 12VDC relay. It would be possible to remove the relay from the circuit board, solder in a coupler wires from the 12VDC poles on the board and wire those to a 12VDC impulse relay that you'd need to buy, like

and then you wouldn't need a 120VAC supply. You could do it all with your existing 220VAC supply.
