I think this warrants a new post. I've read the stepper circuit questions I found in a forum search and don't see what I'm looking for.

I'm trying to create an equivelent circuit in a Siemen's LOGO! programmable relay. It's basically a small PLC. It uses Free Body Diagrams to create the control logic, but can also use ladder logic.

I've been trying to build a LOGO! control program for a stepper motor for a little while. I'm no expert so there is some OJT going on here. I've decided to try and recreate an electronic controller in FBD logic and see if the relay can drive a stepper motor with it. I've been working on translating the stepper circuit on this site into FBD logic and get stuck while creating the 4027 schematic.

I don't understand what the three "TG" componenets are in the schematic and need to find out so I can translate their functions. What are they called, what do they do, do they have a schematic of their own that I can see?

My second question may be a bit dumb. The "Step" input is where I would need to have a 555 timer pulse or some other clock that cycles the motor, correct? The rest of the circuit is just putting voltage on the correct coil at the correct time. right?

Here's a link to the FBD I have so far.
