I found your low battery cut out in a google search but can't find it on this site. Can anyone steer me to it? I am running a solar slowpump [12V and 12A]from a solar array [about 90 watts] along with a 12V RV battery. I need a circuit that will allow a system voltage draw down to about 11.5V then cut out and allow a recharge to 14.5 before closing the circuit for another run. The solar controller automatically disconnects the panels when battery voltage drops below 11V and also cuts out when battery charging voltage reaches 14.5V. After playing with this manually it seems that battery recovery is best if cut out is around 11.5V. The relay portion would have to handle around 15A max. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Keith PS: I found a production version - it's made by NewMar. It's a low voltage disconnect model LVD 12-30 and has adjustable cut-in and cut-out voltage ranges 10 to 15 volts and handles up to 30 amps. It costs about $165. I wonder if it can be fabricated for much less?
