I was bored and found out a way to make a deadly (or VERY painful) weapon using only a regular ball point pen and a rubber band. But i need to ask Mr. Cake can i post it. I might get banned if i do with out permission. So Aaron Can i? Im posting it here because. The weapons is not pnumatic or needs a chamber. This weapons can shoot 6+ stories high.
Well the design i very simple, that I might need pictures. Well get your ball-point pen and take the cap and the point off. You should save the Ink Stick thing. You should have a Plastice tube and the Ink Stick thats inside.
The plastic tube is your "barrel" and the inkstick is your "ammo". But now you need something to propell your ammo. Thats where the rubber band comes in. Now this is the simple part but may be hard to explain.
Wrap the rubberband around eash end of the plastic tube. Now hold the rubber band in the middle of the tube and take the rubber band off of one end. You should have A plastic tube with rubber streched over one open end and the other side of the tube is open. Drop the ink stick inside the open end of the plastic tube and pull back the rubber band along with the ink stick. Aim and let go. I might need pictures for your reference.
We used a mechanical pencil and a bunch of pen springs. Gut the pencil, and take the long plastic "lead" holder out. This is probably only relevant for Bic pencils.
Get about 4 pen springs, and put them inside the pencil. Now, bend a paper clip to form a release mechanism that loops through the pocket clip and up around where the eraser would normally sit.
To fire, shove the plastic "lead" holder down and slip the release mechanism over. Now pull the "trigger".
Hard to describe without pictures, but you probably get the idea.
G'day y'all. Do you think that both of you guys could build a copy and document ur progress and steps with pics? These sound really interesting. Thanks alot.
its a bit of a old topic but ill still post anyway... I made the pen-gun thingy, wow its powerfull!! i its small and fun... at school i shot it into the celing tiles.. its fun!! ;-)
