me and a buddy built the basic spudgun to the excact specifications. at least we feel so. well all and all we cannot get a spud to shoot out of the barrell with any distance. the farthest is about 50 ft. we can get a flame to come out of the end so i dont know why it wont shoot. maybe the chamber is too big?? i have no idea so maybe if someone will give some advice or something that i can work with. PS.... we are using aquanet to fuel it.
it obviously doesnt work because you posted your message 4 times. if you had posted just once, your gun would have worked perfectly the next time you tried it. unfortunately, the only thing you can do now is destroy your old gun and start fresh.
maybe you could have posted some measurements and stuff so we had some idea what your gun was like, eh? nobody could really tell you what to do off of what you posted...
First of all, use a different fuel. Try gas or butane. Second, are you sure the spud is sealing properly? What does the shot sound like? What ignition system are you using?
