Hi -

Anyone know where to get hold of small springs? I'm talking about really small ones about 2mm dia - 25mm or 35mm long with wire about 0.2mm dia tightly wound. used in tension. Look like this -

O-/////////-O

(Hey that worked really well!)

I'm in the UK and having no luck. I'm seriously considering dismantling the office photocopier!!

Thanks a lot.

The local fastener store? Not sure about the UK but my local fastener store has stuff like this in stock. Also an old VCR has a selection of small springs as part of the loading mechanism.
