I have a remote RV trailer that I am powering with a small battery bank and an 80W solar panel. I am currenty powering the trailer via the 12V connection. I need to add an inverter for some 120V requirements. The trailer has 120V outlets for when you connect directly to the 120 in a trailer park with connections. I am wondering if I could plug the 120 from the inverter directly to the 120 shore connection on the trailer. It would mean going from 12V to 120V and back to 12V through the trailer inverter for the on board 12V system. The 120V trailer system also charges the batteries.
1.) Will this two step conversion be functional?
2.) Will the recharge loop be a problem?

I'm confused...it sounds like you want to charge the batteries from themselves? Can you maybe draw up a quick diagram?
