Britney's vocals were good once but they have dropped off through the years. If it was her voice which she was trying to sell then I wouldn't be talking about her today. She is a business woman and has obviously succeeded somehow at what she does best - being a performer, entertainer and a musician. Her music is only half of what she does. I would love to go back in time to visit her early performances. Her performances in recent years I definitely wouldn't see - not my cup of tea. It's music, not vocal talent that I care about. To me vocals are just another wind instrument.

It makes sense to have her own backup track in her performances because of the way she dances. She wants the music to sound good and not flutter every time she busts a move. I won't sugar coat it but her vocal performance is better in a studio than when she is performing live. Understandable.

To be honest I only hear auto tune in a few of her recent songs, and I think I have a good ear for spotting things like that.

It's ironic she made a song back in 1999 called "(You Drive Me) Crazy". Then several years later it turned out to be true, and the people who drove her crazy were the paparazzi.

An epic live performance:

Is there auto tune in this one? If there is they did a very good job to cover it up.

After watching that video I am reminded again why I don't like Britney Spears: I can't stand the sound of her voice.

Vocal performances are always superior in a studio because mistakes are easy to cover up, and as many takes for a single lyric can be done as necessary to make the music as processed and perfect as required. A agree about the vocals in most cases. But I don't really see much music in what she performs either. I understand that others may like it.

As you can tell I'm more often interested in the sort of off-beat sound that a lot of others would hate. Always found it funny that someone would say "Kraftwerk sucks" then go and listen to 50 Cent.

I think I know what you mean regarding her voice. I'm not bothered by it. Just another wind instrument - you either hate it, like it or love it. A lot of people seem to like it.

You know what I would prefer out of the two. I hate (C)Rap.

Me being a Britney fan could be attracting other fans to your website, which means those advertisements are getting a good workout. So in a way I guess that's probably the only reason why you would like her.

The single CD of the "Stronger" song that I posted actually included an instrumental version of the song on the disk.

HIAM "Hold It Against Me" has already spawned several remixes and I am listening to one now. The music video preview is gonna be released soon.

I have a few thousand pictures of her synced on my laptop and desktop PC. LOL! I use Picassa to organize them. At one of the shopping centers I go to there is a shop that has several posters of her on their windows.

Oh come on! Here's video Teaser number 1. It's only five seconds long! WTF! It's been out for less than a day and it has already got 291,546 views.

They did the same thing with her 2009 single "3". Britney's camp are building up the hype.

P.S.
I just read on her official website that there will be 14 teaser videos. So I suppose that will be one each day.
