Kraftwerk does sound a bit empty, but that is one of the reasons I like it. So much music (almost all of it?) is written about love and loss. These are two things I don't care about, and I really don't want to listen to yet another song about some pathetic lonely heart who lost his girl. What's nice about Kraftwerk and other electronic music is that it is cold and sonically perfect. There is little emotion in the sound and it is exactly the same (more or less) each time it is played. It is also lyrically simple, if there are lyrics at all.

The only thing I liked about that Alexis Jordan song is that she was in a Gremlin. Awesome. But once again, about love and loss.

Keeping up with the times, in many unfortunately cases, means making music specifically to appeal to the public. These days that just involves a lot of autotune. If you are going to autotune, at least be honest about it like T. Pain:

And just because I'm in a bit of an odd mood (taking a slight break from setting up encryption on an Exchange 2003 server), here is some Cibo Matto:

And of course, we can't forget Kraftwerk - Elektro Cardiogram:

Going by what I can gather, the Instrumental of that Alexis Jordan song "Happiness" was made in 2008. Either she or her management decided that it would be a good idea to get Alexis to sing some lyrics for it in 2010. I'm might have said this before but lyrical content is not as important to me as how the music sounds. I often try to track down instrumentals of the songs I like.

That Cibo Matto was totally weird.

What are Kraftwerk doing on their laptops while the music is playing? Surfing the net?

God I never listen to songs that have that much auto tune (T. Pain). It's too unnatural.

Dated back to 2008:

That was pretty funny. Watching Aaron burn himself is entertaining. He should do more entertaining things.

Britney just released her new single on the 11th, my B-Day. It's the first song I have ever bought. I still haven't bought a music CD yet. LOL

EDIT:
Sorry the video was taken down after a Sony copyright claim. Thought that would happen.

The video was actually probably taken down in the interest of good taste.

I can take music with or without lyrics, really. Many times the lyrics ruin otherwise good music. It would be quite nice if all music was available multitrack so that we could just select "No lyrics" when we listen. Then again, that might make parody much easier which would do nothing but piss off record companies (even though parody is specifically allowed in copyright law).

Kraftwerk plays their stuff these days on their laptops. In the past it was analog synth and they would just stand in front of keyboards. I quite like the monolithic style of their performances. Too bad there probably won't be another and I missed the last one in 2009.

Here is some old and original Kraftwerk, Pocket Calculator, but played fairly recently:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eI3gCWL-sY

It is on a faster tempo than the original.

As for the Cosmo videos, part 9 will be out soon. Will it be tomorrow? Perhaps...

LOL! Leave Britney alone! LOL!
The song is already doing very well though and has broken records. It is a change from her previous songs that's for sure. You'll probably hear the song on the radio. Her voice is quite distinguishable IMO.

Wow, I don't know what to think about that. Some kid acts like an idiot on camera in an obviously faked video and gets 80,000+ views?! Nowhere near as good as Leave Britney Alone, which was at least real.

If there is one thing that can make Leave Briteny Alone better, it's autotune!

So no comments on part 9? Not even anything about my awesome descriptiveness and references to Paris Hilton's orifi?

Let's not forget Kraftwerk - Computerliebe (Computerlove):

Yeah I've seen that autotune one. Pretty funny.

I'm too busy to think about Paris, and if I weren't I still wouldn't. What the hell does Paris do anyway? I'm so hot.
She gets all wet and soapy, slides all over a car and eats hamburgers. Then she goes and sucks some ... for dessert.

Aaron, were you like the guy in my last post when you found your Cosmo? LOL! Hard to imagine.

Keep the videos comming Aaron. You are doing a good job.

Cool Kraftwerk. Still none of their music rings a bell.

I became actively interested in Britney and few other artists in 2009. The artists all had one thing in common, they had all produced hit songs with a Swedish producer named Max Martin.

Here is one of my favorite song's by Britney. The video is great too. It came out in the year 2000. Great new Millenium music. Along with this song were a series of remixes made during the time of release all the way to the present. I have heaps of official remixes and fan made ones as well. The song has featured on Glee.
Aaron, this video also has a car in it.

One of the reasons I don't listen to Britney Spears (one of the many, many reasons ) was that I have always thought about how artificial her voice is. How much editing and autotune goes into her performances? It's hard to hold a candle to a female artist with an actual amazing voice, like Duffy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zQP6vgWiek

Hm, I'm running out of good Kraftwerk. At this point I'm starting to only hit the obscure stuff which isn't that great, in my opinion. I've had Neon Lights on my playlist for years, but I don't know why and I think it will be deleted soon.
