I have a doubt regarding selecting the power switch for a bidirectional circuit. Consider there is a bus of 48V, and at the end of the bus a charger and a load is connected.I am asked to design a power circuit for it. I thought of connecting two SCR's in anti parallel, gating both the SCR's at one time by using a 1:2 pulse transformer which is controlled from a micro controller.I would like to knw if this concept of mine will supply power to load, or do i need to use some other switching device. I am attaching the block diagram.

Two SCRs or a single TRIAC. I don't see an attached block diagram. If you describe your circuit in more deail, you may get a better response.
