hello again.

I'm trying to have this: http://www.rentron.com/remote_control/TINY-IR2.htm control this: http://www.circuitdb.com/circuits/id/153

The problem is, the remote control runs on 5V and the relay circuit on 12, so i can not simply integrate the two. I was hoping to use a transistor but i'm not exactly sure how to do that. If all else fails i could use a 5v relay, but i'd like to keep this part solid state :/

what are your opinions?

thanks in advance, homik. :)

"I make my circuits on bread board." "Well, i print out my own PCB templates." "Oh yeah? I make my circuits with a sharpie and a cool hat."
