Sorry to bother you with this question but I don't really know how to phrase my terminology for a google search. I am looking to put this headlight on my bike.

I want to mod it to turn the LEDs on the sides into turn signals. That would be relatively easy, but I was hoping to do it in a slightly different way than just having them flash. I was thinking about having them on as running lights then when hitting the turn signals have it go dark and "fill" from bottom to top quickly before going dark again. Rinse and repeat. I really don't know where to start with this one. I have made my own LED brake lights and turn signals before but this is a whole nother animal

If it matters I want to replace the LEDs on the sides with the following LEDs

Amber = Orange wavelength=600-610 MCD(40deg)=60000 Voltage required=2.0-2.4

You need a light chaser. There are some examples on this site, and most other electronic sites. It's a common circuit.
