I'm kinda new to electronics so forgive me if this is a dumb question but what would have to be done to the water detector with sump/bilge pump controller circuit to make it so that the pump would be on when the probes didn't detect water, and then turn off when they came into contact with water? Thanks for the help

The easiest way to do this would be to use a relay with a set of normally closed contacts and connect the pump to those instead of the normally open as shown in the schematic.
