A friend of mine asked if i could help with a project. He is using a Basic Stamp that the system voltage is 5 Vdc. He is wanting to use a a Analog 24 Vdc 4 -20 ma level sensor on one of the analog inputs. Has anyone had sucess building something like this? I have tried a few things with some op-amp circuits but the problem I keep running into is oscolation in the circuit. Any suggestions? Much thanks![:)

Put a 150ohm resistor in the current loop and measure the voltage across it.
You will get 0.6 V to 3V to feed into the A/D
