Here is a way to do two boards for the cost of one. See, when you go to a board house to run the boards from your Gerbers, they charge by the panel. So, the price you get quoted will be by how many boards they can cut out of how many panels they use. Unstead of running two seperate boards, you can get two for the price of one. The board is scored with a V-groove so you can snap it in half. This is just another example of a view from Eagle Cadsoft. This whole thing was done in Eagle:

You can then send these board designs off to the company and then they'll make the board etching and all for you right? |

You said a few responces ago there that you wanted me to elabrouate on my "idea"... I have tried to email a few times from here but I'm guessing you have not gotten them. You can email me if you want. I want to make the idea a little better I think... and there is still a lot of stuff to go through for it yet. Anyway, if you want to bounce ideas back and forth that would be great. |

I thought we answered. Don't use LEDs if you can help it. Get a heftier solar panel. Give more specifics. What type of lighting will you use? You don' need a pointing device to drive a single light. But if you actually want to illuminate an area, you will need a good panel and decent batteries. I like the sealed lead acid types myself. |

Well the area that i'm lighting is 90 feet long. I plan on using 1 light about every 10 feet. The light fixtures that i plan to use are http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=176453-251-LT8K&lpage=none I will use whatever is better halogen or florouscent. And i remember reading about deep cycle marine batteries. I'll have to do the math to figure out how many watts i will need. |

YOu will probably want to use LED ligting or something like that with a low power waste. If you want to light an area you'll need to figure out what kind of cd or mcd / lumins you need in the room. If you used LEDs typically rated in about 2500mcd (2.5cd or = to aprox 2.5 candels). TO put it into perspecitve a 100W incandecent light is about 100cd so multiply the number of LEDs to equal a 40, 60, 100, or 120W light bulb accordingly. |
