Some of us have been talking about sun tracking systems for solar panels. Ajmix2 found this website which is very good! This guy has been working in the field a few years and gives alot of details that may be of interrest such as efficiency as opposed to other solar methods like mirrors and so forth. Here is the site:http://www.redrok.com/electron.htm#led3x |

Good idea mrgone. I'll post my "clean" version of my diagram. The panel on top could pivot like your drawing. The motors and gearshafts could be changed to use one (as your drawing) or to use the pulley system of the site I found. Seeing as it's not letting me upload...I'll have to put it on a site. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg316/ajmix2/suntracker2.jpg |

Code for battery trickle charger. It uses PIC16f84. It will be a good starting point for the tracker schematic. I want to check and see this other guy's schematics on the first post website. I saw he had links to some. |

Look at the groove inside the pulley. I could not flatten that out. Guess I have to go to web-help. |

well, you're already doing better than I could. I can't draw with that for crap. I'll just stick to pencil and paper for now. |
