My 8 years old Sony 32" TV quit working.
I found its schematic, parts list and discussions about its problems on the web.

So I measured a fuse resistor blown and two power transistors in its power supply, and the horizontal output transistor was also blown.

I called Sony and they said, "parts?" They don't sell parts anymore, just new TVs but they found the parts and sent them to me.

My repaired TV worked only for one week.

If a 1kV capacitor was needed then they used two 500V ones in series. When one got 600V and blew up they replaced it before it was sold or in warranty.

The cheap thermal grease on the transistors that blew up was all dried out like plaster.
The magnets for colour purity were held on with tape that deteriorated and dropped the magnets.
It is cheap junk after only 8 years.

seems your TV goes in protection: means there is some problem (short circuit)with the load part of the power supply.the supply detects this and trips the relay.
