Hey Guys:

Stumbled acroos your site and thought I would give it a try. I need help designing a voltage regulator. First I am not an EE or Guru in Electronics just a Tinkerer!

Whats needed

1. Input Voltage is steady 13 to 14 volts DC.
2. Output is 10V to 18V DC
3. Pot to trim the output voltage as needed
4. circuit needs to handle 20amp loads

Can someone help me with this?

Head over to http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits and take a look at the High Current Power Supply. The voltage regulator section seems to be exactly what you need.
