Have you looked at the MegaSquirt? I know it sounds like a porn movie, but it's a DIY EFI system...

Hi Aaron
I haven't seen that but the basic thing is that i reside in india n the largest displacement bike that we have here in india is a v-twin 250cc, 28bhp bike. Average bikes in india are something like 150cc, so i wanna custom build one so that it is sort of optimised for the indian bikes(crap).

Wow, that's small! I think you're going to have some trouble finding injectors small enough to run at a reasonable duty cycle without over-fueling the engine.
Regardless, the MegaSquirt is probably what you want. A Google search should turn up the site easily.
If you want to make it on your own, you will need some way to measure the air into the engine (airflow meter...most older Toyotas, Mazdas, etc., but it may be too big), an injector driver (simple PWM circuit using the AFM as it's input) and your injector(s).
Ideally you would incorporate temperature, atmospheric pressure, engine load and several other inputs. Otherwise you end up with a fancy carburetor.

Ya they are small n its nothing to wow about, we have only 5 GSX-1300R(Hayabusa) about same number of Yamaha R1s some 50 or so Honda CBRs. That is in the financial capital of India. Forget that though, I went to that site n that thing would do the job real well, now i am gonna ask the question which u have already thought of, what bout injectors n pumps for such small bikes???

I really don't know where to find injectors that small. Very small cars, like the Geo/Suzuki Metro/Sprint would be the first choice. Possibly snowmobiles. Maybe even Hondas. I seem to remember that he smallest injector I have seen is about 100CC, which is a little on the big side, but should be workable.
As for the fuel pump, any small EFI pump and regulator should work fine.

I have done some research here locally n am getting the injectors. The guy told me that he could get injectors for such bikes. About the fuel pump n stuff related to that i wanted to know that how would a fuel pump be able to pump say about 1 to 2cc of fuel in pulses n at such high rates as when the engine is doing 10k rpm. are they meant for such small fuel amounts at such high speeds?
BTW Aaron how much torque n power does ur RX-7 produce?

The fuel pump's job is to supply a constant, pressurized source of fuel. It does not supply the "puleses". The injector is basically a solenoid valve, which is what gets pulsed by the EFI controller. Probably any small car EFI fuel pump will do the job.
No idea on the power of the RX-7. With the setup currently listed on this site, somewhere around 300HP. I've just built a new engine, and am working on the rest of the car. Planning for somewhere around 400 HP.

Wow!
Isn't the engine and transmission really light? Like 150-200lbs?

The engine is about 250 LBs with everything on it, the transmission must be under 100. I'll post a big thread in the Lounge of the engine build when I get a chance.

Thanks for the info on fuel pump i was doubtful abt that only. Do post that thread about the engine plz it will be really good reading.
BTW try getting a Mitsubishi EVO's turbo its really good. The latest model produces 400bhp from a 2 litre engine.

You're getting the turbo, or the whole car? (Seriously)

About that turbo i meant that you try to get it for your car. If it can produce 400bhp from a normal 2 litre engine i can't imagine the sort of power it will pump out of the engine of the rotary of the RX-7. They say its a really huge turbo charger.

That turbo is much too small.
I'm looking more at something like this:

That's the wrong year RX-7, but you get the idea.
