Screw this shitty ass site! Most of you don't know what the hell you're doing! Come over to www.spudtech.com and get the true meaning of "spudgun". So many advances have been made, it makes this site look like a piece of shit. If you visit this site you wont come back here. Give it a try and you wont be sorry.

Just so you know, this site isn't dedicated to spud guns. It is more for electronics and such. I also fail to see how this is an announcement "concerning this forum and Aaron's Homepage. "

Well, if SpudTech is your site and you are trying to promote it, all you have done is make it look like the site is run by an immature little forum troll...
Here's the thing...The spudgun section of this site is only a very small section of another, very large website. As such, it does not receive the attention that an entire website focused on spudguns would get. My spudgun section has not been updated in any significant way in several years, simply because the novelty of the spudgun has worn off on me. Sure, I still enjoy going out and shooting my spudguns once and a while, but the more I look at who is interested in this hobby, the more I read what they write and the more questions I am asked, the more I realise that potato cannons are mainly the hobby of 11-13 year olds. I am not saying that this is 100% the case as there are many older individuals (Ed Goldman comes to mind) involved in some pretty impressive spudgun engineering. I am just saying that the majority of those taking part in this hobby are kids who understand none of the mechanics behind what they are doing...So there's not a lot of motivation for me to update the spudgun parts of this site.
You will also see that this forum is generally geared towards electronics and mechanical projects, with a few of my other interests thrown in. I used to run a huge spudgun forum, and a spudgun mailing list, but gave up on both because all discussions were turning into highschool arguments.
Now, that being said, this is NOT an announcement concerning this forum or my homepage.You are a troll, and have no business on this forum. This topic has been closed, and your forum account terminated.
