I dont remember telling anyone at this site but I built myself some DIY electronic drums....full scale, full price tag lol

it's working great and today I just got a new drum module....the Roland TD10.

This this sounds so much better than the Alesis DM5 and DM Pro and it actually works...

Here is a link to the pics and all the attachments I have added to it so far.

I started building a month before christmas and finished on the 23rd of December....just in time for my b-day and the party so I could show it off lol

It was no fun waiting for parts and tracking them thinking if they would get in on time and the money......I spent about $800 on the basic kit then added a $100 double bass pedal, $40 for the blue LED system, 120 on a mixer/wire and cable ends, $40 on the smoke machine, and today I spent my last big purchase I'll do in a long time....I got a Roland TD10 for $600 but boy was it worth it...the old Alesis DM5 had way to many problems when they made it...

so what do you all think?
neat, aint it

Hers a few recordings i did when doing some settings on the TD10

http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my?loc=173eb-The%204%20song%20mix.mp3
(use the link under the download button for faster loading)

I call it "The 4 Song Mix" Its not my better one but its good enough i guess

The triggers on the cymbals are getting some working on with new smaller piezos compared to the old 2" ones

The LEDs were wired with speaker cable and spade connectors and it was not fun using them for anything so i installed some new power jacks

heres a video of that.....give it lots of time to load

Im my photobucket page youll see the mount i welded for the TD10 module...came out just great

lets see....what else....oh yea i got a band goin around here so i need to make a nice case for my kit
