For me I want to restore a '88 Turbo. It came with ABS and during my rebuild I had the unit rebuilt despite the warnings. It never worked. I channeled hate towards the rebuilder but realized I paid good money against Mazda.
I have an opportunity to purchase several units. Some around 200. Should I buy or let bygonnes be bygones? Sunday early evening is the deadline; ebay.
Thanks again, Jason |

I even started going through the service manual and tested the actuators. Eventually my readings didn't "comply" with the recommended parameters but at the same time were inconsistent.
I blamed it on the pump and my lack of electrical (diodes, circuits, etc.) knowledge.
Once I get the car driving I will take it to the dealership and have them test it. The root of the evil will be found.
Cleaned the garage; anyone need a S5 ABS pump, wiring, and brain?
Apparently years ago I purchased this in hopes to bring virtue to my dilapidated system only to realize the pump was for the wrong year. |

I suspect that the problem may be with the wiring in the wiring in the area but I'm just guessing.
Did you bleed the pump as the factory service manual describes? |
