hai all ... i junaidi from malaysia.. i have an incubator .. but still old scholl type..(manual) now i want to upgrade to auto turner..
need advice from all friends here..
i plan to use D/C motor.. to turn my turner.. i have try it before.. but i dont have idea to start and stop that D/C motor...
that motor continue running and stop only when i push the stop suiz..
please help me.. to desing one simple circuit to stop and start the D/C motor AUTOMATICLY..
MOTOR TURN....around 35 degre angle.....stop for 4 hour after touch micro swith (step 1 )....and turn again same condition like (step 1), and stop again 4 hour .. operate in 24 hours....(now i manualy push the switch)
my problem here at (step 1) i dont have any idea to run the motor again after the power cut off by micro switch.. 
plese help me...

I Googled "cyclic timer circuit" and found this:

It uses a crystal oscillator and a counter instead of a 555 timer. Way more accurate... |

That's an industrial timer which is designed to operate in a factory for many years under harsh conditions. The cost is quite high compared to something designed for consumer use or a homemade circuit with the LM556. |

OMRON H3CRF TIMER
Twin timer (for example, good to make a cyclic meter).
Electronic multifunctionnal timer.
16 time ranges : from 0,05 sec to 300 hrs.
1 time function (asymmetric flashing).
Output : 2 delayed reverser relays 5 A/250 V.
Front case : 48 x 48 mm.
11-pin socket connection.
H3CRF - 24V timer.
now i try this type of timer...
it work.. but the cost was cracks my pocket . |

very tough task for me.. to search all this detail.. but i must try.. tq for your info and support...
i really hope somebody can give me complete diagram for cyclic timer electronics ...

That would be one example. There are many kit vendors, much closer to you then Cana Kits which is in Canada.
Check the datasheet for the LM556 dual timer. I think it has an example circuit of using one of the timers to trigger the other. |

do you mean this cyclic timer electronics kit?
i dont thing so i can have it at my place...
but anybody can give a diagram for built this cyclic timer electronics.?

Instead of making the motor only operate 35 degrees, why not accomplish that with something mechanical like a cam wheel? Use a gear motor (probably already built into the incubator) to operate a cam shaped so that it will turn the rollers and then release after about 35 degrees? Then use any number of timer kits (search Google for "cyclic timer electronics kit") to run the motor for a few seconds every 4 hours. That way you don't have to worry about the motor running away or trying to control the position of a DC motor precisely. |
