Some years ago when I was in Technical college I got my hands on a copy of plans for building a device called the Electromagnetic Brain Blaster. It worked on a motorcycle battery of 6v and could knock small woodland creatures out of trees ( it's what was printed on the paper ) I am interested in anyone having those plans as I never did take it seriously and threw the papers away but now in my later years would love to build it to endulge the weekend project guy in me.

Probably a powerful ultrasonic pulse. As I recall, Information Unlimited ( http://www.amazing1.com/ ) has a number of devices and plans on the subject.
