I have a failed charger circuit here. There are 2 diodes side by side that look like zener diodes but one has a green band and the other black band. Please, what types of diodes are they, how do I test if they are still working. Also, there is an LM358G IC close, how do I test if it is also working.
NOTE: It is a 30V dry cell charger circuit.

We'd need to know more about the diodes other than the colour of their bands. For example, any part numbers?

If they are just regular rectifiers, unsolder one end from the circuit and use the diode check feature of your meter to test them.

The LM358G is a dual op amp. In this circuit it is probably configured as a comparator to shut the charging off when the battery voltage reaches a specific value. Google up the datasheet for the pinout. Then you can check for approximately the expected output with the corresponding input voltages.
