Nutsert or rivnut. You may have a different local name but that's what we call them in North America.

NO. I have searched high and low. They are no where to be found. Everyone wants to sell me a tap and die.

If you don't have the time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it over?

Any good fastener store. There are multiple fastener store chains where I live (FACCA, Brafasco, Laurie's) and they all stock nutserts/rivnuts.

Worst case is that I'm sure you can order them online in bulk.

My next Cosmo video will have a good demonstration of how to use nutserts.

Nah, we just need a demonstration of how to buy them at Home Depot or another well known store. Plus, Home Depot gave everyone on my street buckets of stuff when we flooded.

Pick up a copy of the Yellow Pages, look up "Fasteners", and go to a real fastener store. They will have a wide selection. Regular hardware stores or big box stores won't generally carry them.
