Hi all,

New to this forum. I hope I may be of some help to others when I can.

I need to build a circuit that will sound a buzzer when the voltage in a set of LiPo batteries hooked in series falls below 42vdc.

Anyone have any ideas for a circuit that will handle this high of voltage or know where there may be an existing circuit that can be modified to meet my needs?

I would really appreciate any information you can offer!!

Thanks,

Merv

The easiest way would be to use a zener diode to conduct to the base of a transistor, with another transistor connected as an inverter. That 2nd transistor triggers your buzzer, which has a dropping resistor in series to lower the supply voltage.
