Hello i have some doubts in this project:

http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/IR_Remote_Switch_Circuit.asp?showcomments=all

1- How to make it work with AC 220Volts

2- How to add a learn function in order for just one button in remote can be used to controll it (or other all new schematic)

Thanks a lot

1. R4, R5 and R6 are what you need to change. R4 and R5 drop voltage based upon Ohms law, and then it is regulated by the zener. I have not done the calculations, but doubling the values should be fine. R6 is current limiting for the DIAC. Double it, all other things remaiining equal.

2. Not without redesigning the circuit around a processor.
