i've made the ir remote control posted on this site here

and it works great..

now i want to ask whether we can mod it to transmit/recieve more than one channel????

The oscillator and LM567 are set to one frequency. Make the oscillator produce different frequencies for different channels and make the LM567 receive the different frequencies.

Maybe you need separate oscillators and LM567 ICs.

where's the oscillator in the circuit.???

and does lm567 ic comes with different frequencies??

The oscillator is the IR transmitter. Its R and C are calculated to produce one frequency.
The R and C in the LM567 circuit are calculated to receive one frequency. Look at its datasheet.

U mean to say i can change the values of R and C to change the frequencies???

Yes.
But the frequency of the very simple oscillator changes all over the place and the bandwidth of the LM567 is fairly wide so you cannot use more than about 4 channels reliably.
