A computer controlled device responding to the INP and OUT commands in basic failed to respond after a hard drive failure and restoration. The driving software has not changed and I have tried several fundamental software tests. As far as I can tell the INP and OUT commands to the 8255 device are no longer working. Any ideas ? gf
Running under Windows? All NT based versions of Windows disallow direct hardware access. These commands won't work under NT/2K/XP/2K3/Vista/7/2K8, etc.
