Dear All, Please help me to made a circuit , by which I can easily protect my home or shop when I will became absent on that place , mean if some one trying to open my shop or home a call will dial from already fitted land line phone or mobile phone.
Please help me to solve this circuit.

Use an old computer, an old webcame, and a program like ActiveWebCam. |

Is it necessary I must use a old computer , if i will just use microcontroller ic 89c51 , will it possible in that case , if yes please reply.

You could go that direction. Then you need to make your own hardware and interface to the phone line, as well as program in DTMF (which I assume the uController doesn't support).
With an old computer, a modem, a webcam, and some free software like ActiveWebCam, you can have it running in a few minutes. |

Your advise is most benificiall for me , but an idea I want to share with you that " Can I make connect parallel line with telephone redial switch where my already a selected number dialed and when any un wanted person trying to open my shop or home a call will be dialed through redial switch which is parallely connected
I mean I want to use already installed telephone set to minimize my cost , becuase in our country cheapest things have value not to which are costly, people will diney to install such safty circuit by seeing computer cost.

Yes, I suppose you could do that. And then connect some kind of sound generator to the mic input on the phone so that you know who is calling you. In that case, you wouldn't even need a microcontroller, just a regular old motion sensor and a relay. |
