I have been lost or mis diagnosed disc equiptments that would prompt me "no disc" the disc would just jerk then do nothing...before i would get a sirenge and inject some laquer thinner on the spindle motor and the problem seems to be cured but now a days spindle motors are just about 2$ US so replacing them is a time saving option while repairing.
