So, I tried installing Avast! to protect my computer. Well, apparently that server is down, all the time. Microsoft.com, oh, that's down too, Norton, McAfee, Which those 2 i won't use, but those websites are constantly down also. Anyone have this problem and know how to get rid of it?

If you don't have the time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it over? |

Can you ping the sites you are trying to access?
I tried pinging them awhile back on another computer and it didn't work, I think I checked the proxy settings and messed with them, but in the end I just reinstalled Windows to fix a bunch of other problems. The joys of buying a used laptop. I do find it funny how Asus gives you disks with the drivers on it with a netbook. Glad I had an external DVD drive handy. |
