What given circuit?

In most cases you can trigger a relay from a circuit that produces a lower level signal by simply using a transistor. Grab a 2N2222 or 2N3904, connect one side of the relay coil to +V, the other side to the collector, the emitter to ground and then the base to the circuit through an appropriate resistor (generally around 1K). Reverse bias a diode across the coil.

Connect the BC547 directly to 6V instead of through the LED and resistor. Put a ~600 ohm resistor in series with the emitter to ground. Connect the base of an appropriate transistor (2N3904) between the resistor and emitter. Then use that transistor to drive the relay.

It will chatter a lot in use, I think.
