Do you think it could operate at 3V and output 9V-14V?(dual AA)
I wish to make a transformerless supply for an FM transmitter as much as possible, without using a 9V battery. but still have a long range of transmission... or in powering a headphone amplifier... not to mention, ripple noise from the inverter...
A ferrite xformer won't fit on my chosen case(too tall), that's why I chose it.
The circuit will probably work from 3V but will stop before the two AA cells drop to 2V. Stepping up the voltage also steps up the current from the battery so it will not last long.
The inductor might be the same size as a ferrite transformer.
