You do not need a voltage regulator and you do not need a low-dropout voltage regulator. Instead you need a power supply that can supply 2A and a circuit that works. Pin 4 turns the regulator on and off because it is the disable pin.

OK, but my singing arc schematic dose work. I can use a battery with it and it works fine.

well i cant get anything outta the power supply but a quick arc but when i plug it up to a 12v(not car bettery) battery i getta silent arc( it is suppose to do that )

Since your 12V power supply cannot provide enough current then why don't you make or buy one that has enough current?

they are expensive and i would like this to be in an enclosed case i have withe my plasma speaker circuit.
