My old soldering tutorial was looking a little lame after all these years, so it has received a full rewrite. It now covers the soldering process fully, from tinning the iron, to soldering PC boards, to soldering wire splices. All three processes are explained with pictures and video. |

Nice. |

Thanks.
Are you using Firefox? If so, did the videos play alright?
The company that makes the player says in their license that I need to buy it if I am displaying ads, but I want to make sure it works before I shell out the $99 Euros. |

Why don't you save money and just upload it to youtube? |

Cool, glad it works in Firefox. 30% of the visitors to my site use Firefox and I wouldn't like to exclude them.
As for the player, I don't like having things hosted externally. Putting your content in the hands of a third party service is always risky. |

Seems to work well in Arora. |
If you don't have the time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it over? |

Good to know that it works in Chrome. I didn't even think to test that even though I have Chrome installed. That should mean that the EMBEDs work in all WebKit based browsers.
I had to look up what Arora actually is. Interesting concept, though I'm not sure if I can see the usefulness.
I tested on Win98 running IE5 as well, and the videos worked. Interestingly, they played twice. Of course, only about 50 viewers a day come to this site on Windows 98, so I'm not sure I care. |

50 viewers a day using win98? That's pretty good. I thought it would have been more like... zero. I somtimes still use Win98 to play old games. |

There are some weird browsers out there. I still see traffic daily to IE2, Netscape 2, something odd called "Linux" , Atari and a few others.
Interestingly, there is usually more traffic for Win98 then WinMe.
Very few of those visiting my site are running Vista.

Most people who use Win98 either don't have the cash for a new computer, think there is no difference in OS's, are not good with computers (something i can barely imagine, my family grew up with them.), or just are really stubborn when changing OS's. |

Sometimes, there is software running under Win98 that simply won't run under newer versions, so some users don't have a choice.
"Others" includes most cell phones. Most of the cell phone traffic is from Windows Mobile and Blackberry. Blackberry clients don't identify themselves just as "Blackberry" but with complete build numbers so it is hard to track Blackberry traffic. |
