Hi
My Black & Decker programmable coffee maker keeps powering off while it is supposed to be making coffee. I have to continually power it on about 7 times to get one pot.
Is there a part I can replace in the unit or do I trash it?

For identification, all I could find was CAT.NO DE790B Type 1 120V-900W.
The buttons from left to right are Hour, Minute, On/Off, Prog, Auto.

I'm hoping to keep it around for much longer. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you, Dan

There is probably an overtemperature switch somewhere in the circuit (a simple thermoswitch on the element, a thermistor, etc.). My first thought is that this switch has failed.
