Hello, i'm doing a project using the MDO3 50V 20A motor driver. While doing some testing, i accidently connected the MD03 in the wrong polarity to the battery (24 V). In result, the capacitor burned and got separated / cutoff from the MD03 circuit.
question: Is my MD03 circuit can be said as damage? What happen when the motor driver is put into a wrong polarity? Is by replacing the capacitor sufficient? or is there any other effects to the circuit itself?
i tried replacing with a fake leg for the capacitor and checked out its connectivity. i also supplied it with 5V but the value obtained from the multimeter is 0.6V.
question: How can i fix it? without having to buy another MD03..
