Hi,
Its true that CD4047 Produces a square wave that does not power up or work with coils/transformer devices. Can i be assisted with a schematic diagram that will produce 12vac sine wave, given Vcc=12v dc.

Thanks,

Look in Google for Sine-wave Oscillator Circuit. You will find the Wien bridge, Phase-shift and other sine-wave oscillator types.
With a 12VDC supply, the output level will be about 9.6V peak-to-peak which is 3.4V RMS.

The square-waves from a CD4047 or any other circuit is converted to a sine-wave with a multi-order lowpass filter. A switched-capacitor Butterworth lowpass filter IC is perfect for it.
