i want to mount 2 leds into the face of my skull lighter so that when pushed in, the leds will illuminate.how can i go about doing this? leds are mounted and wired in parallel with current limiting resistor.when pushed in the heater coil short circuts to ground ,causing current to heat the coil.I know that if you take the positive at the high resistance of the coil that may work but if there is an easier way i am in need of help.

First of all never mount leds in parallel because the one with that has the lower voltage drop will burn out first because it took more current. 2) Why not use a battery??? just hide it inside or something, the coil is an inductor and its current will be verrry high. Thats all i kno ;)
