here's one for you...
I'm in the process of installing a 13B NA into a '74 alpha romeo GTV, I have an after market turbo from the previous engine (stock 4cylinder) Do I have to modify the engine to turbocharge it? I mean, besides the computer and a couple of sensors, exhaust etc? I fully intend to get the thing running NA first, just to work the bugs out, but if it is possible i would like to add some "kahones" if you will. the turbo is an A/R 60 roto master, the #'s stamp reads 104295 if you could tell me if the turbo is enough and what mods i need to do I would be ever so gratefull. thanks-august

Generally speaking, any OEM turbo is going to be too small for a 13B. An A/R of 0.60 on the hotside is a VERY small unit and will not work on the rotary.

You can run small turbos and low boost on the stock NA ECU by installing larger injectors and using a piggyback controller like the S-AFC to adjust them. Bigger turbos require a standalone EFI system. Nothing in the enigne needs to be modified.
