I was using your website as my guide beacuse I am also trying to put a turbo to my 88 rx7 vert. I was wondering. Those two big actuator-looking things beside the ACV cover, I don't know if you left it off or you put it back on 'coz the intercooler piping is covering it in the pics. But are they necessary? What is their purpose anyway? We have the same engine setup where both the exhaust and the intake are on one side of the engine. I could've pointed it out on the pics but I don't know how to upload the pics.
P.S. What you did with your turbo installation awsome. Specially the fact that you did it step by step, took pics and posted it on your website really helped me out.
A quick check of the Factory Service Manual or Haynes manual will show you that these actuators are for the auxillary (5th and 6th) intake ports. Without some serious rigging they will not fit due to how close the turbo sits to the manifold. In my case I just wired them open.
