I thinking of a idea that reduces the amount of chunky wires going back and forth to the switches on the dashboard ... instead there is one +12v chunky wire and a thin signal wire, the signal wire will go to multipuil IC recivers each with there own address powering a relay to switch the device eg headlights. somewhere in the car there will be a transmitter when a switch is presed it changes the address on the transmitter wich one of the recivers will pick up.... do you thnk there will be toooo much interfrerance or any major problems before i start to make it....

Already done. Lots of cars these days uses busses instead of descrete connections to each device. Look up "CAN bus". It's nice from an OEM view to reduce wiring and such, but a MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS for anyone modifying the vehicle.

hmm not much of a pain in the ass(i dont think) .ive rewired my dads land rover for him... Quite simple...ish... im surprised its done allready!
