ive just read the long-ass "contact" page, and it started to get me thinkin "damn, im curious about some stuff" ...now i admit im fairly new to this whole "forum" thing...but aaron how could you no longer be interested in electronics...yet you host this webpage that basically revolves around more technical areas of interest? ...and i never thought electroics is something that people out grow, when its obvious it was something you were good at,.....different strokes for different folks i suppose.
secondly...( a little bit more of a back story) the whole reason why i went thru the motions into the "contact page" was because i was gonna ask you (and wouldnt you know...an electroics question) if you could look at this other led chaser schematic thing ive found if youd think it would work...i would of done yours, but unfortunately i already got the supplies for this one (ex: 555 timer or whatever) and ive looked thru em both and their is a bit of difference, ive attempted it before...mind you im no tech swavy, but it wasnt very successful...not to mention i tried to hook it up to a LED digit...but nevermind that...some people, some times im sure youd felt like you "do other peoples homework", and by all means having some random dude in cyberspace doing all the run-a-round, trial and error b.s. would be great...all i need and sure other people who stumble upon here just need some pointers or plain out help...especially if there confused and newbies..compared to them you probably look like the Bill Gates of circuits... and how awesome would it be to have a net-buddy whow knows all this badass stuff? ...id be good times, and forums cant always nessicarily cover all aspects.
i know i should stop draggin ass, and do everything myself...i indeed try, i mean hell im writing this long-ass message and for all i know, for nothing...maybe i dont know where to put forth my energy...but i got a feeling its worthwhile..whatever that may mean.
to anyone and everyone, my name is Randy, im 20 and live in Northern Illinois, USA...i play guitar (metal music mostly) and enjoy horror films...and of course have too much spare time lol... i dont know im trying to get on some sort of a level here...i mean in electronics arent your thing anymore and you feel like (certain) people are rude,unappreciative and lazy etc etc...possibly host something of some sort that your interested in now (hopefully that wouldnt change years down the road) but like...i dont know www.LearnToBakeWithAaronCake.com? and every month you can post pictures of the "Hot AC Milf of the Month" or something?
all and all im rambling, but im sure whatever responses to this will be equally worthwhile...which i guess is whats ultimately important in this day and age...
to the best everyone, and my 8 digit led timer thing in the "basic electronics" still has no damn responses...so feel free to stop by lol...also if anyone knows how to help modify existing timer schematics let me know...or if theres a book even better...ive checked the libraryand felt quite dorky and all for no results..i dont know much tech stuff...but if anyone wants to talk about movies or crack some sick jokes -im the guy...so no real formal paybacks...my conbributions arent very tech if its straight forward building,crafting,wiring etc etc etc...but im sure anyone whos read my past 4-5 messages or whatever knows that.

..."Cirvin" REALLY loves the backstreet boys, and wonders if anyone can get ahold of signed..or possibly nude photos.

yes...i know for most of the first half i spelled electronics .... "electroics" ....proves my confusion even more lol...also the 8-digit timer thing is in "other circuits" ....not in basic electronics (not like it'll matter)

Because the electronics sections are still the most popular areas of the site. And since they're already there it would be kind of dumb to remove all that information.
If you look at the rest of my website, you will see that it is still being upated in the other sections. I've also decided that while I am still not technically answering electronics sections or supporting that section of the site I will be adding new circuits every once and a while.

That's a bit of what I was talking about on the contact page.It's amazing how many people would be emailing me for support on circuits that have nothing to do with my website. Also those who thought I could just pull circuits out of thin air at their request. Even to deny these requests took a HUGE amount of time (imagine receiving between 300 and 1000 emails a day).

It's quite likely that no one knows, or it's too complicated to easily explain. If I was going to build such a circuit I would get a serial LCD screen and use a microcontroller. After a few support components it's all in the programming.

i mean theres no sense in hiding..its just the internet...im suspicious that "Cervin" is REALLY "Cher" ... we dont have to hide from ourselves anymore...we're all friends here, in fact..ill be the first to come clean...im really Boy George (from the culture club)...i was just pretending i was an early 20s doofus...please everyone come clean with your idenities...and here is the place...

Yes, actually. I'm a very good cook. It seems that most people who are interested in technical aspects are fairly decent chefs...

Im curious as to how you have gotten cirvin into this....I dont recall him making any post in the aaron carter random thought thing?

Aaron I have to disagree on that one....all the technical people I know who think they can cook actually suck pretty bad and the rest just admit they suck pretty bad.
