I have posted a short spudgun article from a local paper at http://www.aaroncake.net/spuds/article2.htm . There is a TV news report that goes along with it, and I am currently in the process of obtaining it.
The article is titled 'Potato Cannon' Warning.

Yeah, I know. Why use a compact, accurate and powerful rifle when you can use a bulky, inaccurate and slow spudgun? Guess some people would rather horribly injure animals then kill them...

I wouldn't be suprised of Canada outlawed Spud guns. THey have already banned a lot pistols. If it wasn't for the revenue from Americans hunting in Canada they would,ve already banned rifles.

I was wondering when the authorities would attempt to outlaw "spud launchers" seeing the whole "anti-weapon anti-gun" bs thats going on out there... Though i can understand where they're commin from considering that yeah, most people out there are like us here on this page just launching stuff for fun or to say.... Return the fecal matter of ones neighbors dog from one's lawn to his neighbors siding and all.... While there are others out there who would say, launch thigns like poolballs or other dangerous materials at people and property witht he intent to destroy and inflict monetary damage..... Either way though, I feel that outlawing spudguns would just be outrageous.... That would be like, outlawing fire, or paintball guns, or hunting rifles and stuff.... Its just kind of crazy....... Well ive said my piece I guess.... what do you guys thing?

first aaron you are so cool second i think that if they try to ban spud guns we sould all team up and do something if we all team up alot can

I'm not too worried if spudguns become illegal. I'll still continue to use them, and it's only a 20 minute drive to the middle of nowhere where there isn't anyone around to complain.

ya thats true but it probaly wouldnt hurt to add a scilencer or some type of sound sepressing device.
